| Currently, due to rapid growth in energy prices particularly urgent issue of improving the energy efficiency of residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Method of solving this problem is the use of modern insulating materials, one of which is foamed glass. Foam glass has the following thermophysical properties and performance characteristics: - wide temperature range applications;
- high water resistance;
- incombustibility;
- the foamglass can be applied at temperatures from -2600 to +6000c;
- dimensional stability;
- resistance to aggressive media, including acids;
- high strength characteristics.
Properties of foam glass can be used this material extensively. It can be used in the construction and zhilischnokommunalnom complexes as a universal thermal insulator, as well as individual construction, agriculture, energy, machine building, chemical and petrochemical industries, food, paper, pharmaceutical and other industries.
